We would like to share some recent photos from our summer camp adventure!  We attended Summer camp at Hidden Valley Scout Reservation, in Loysville, PA just north of Carlisle about an hour away from Dover, PA.

We appreciate your continued support!  Below you can see some of the photos we have chosen to share with you.

Troop 67 Summer Camp – 2023

Flag Ceremony! Troop 67 flag, during the Scout Camp Flag Ceremony.
Cardboard Canoes, will they float?Several weeks prior to leaving for camp our scouts built built two cardboard canoes, one for each patrol to participate in a Cardboard Canoe Race once they arrived at camp.  They were allowed to use only two physical materials, Cardboard, and Duct Tape along with several other intangible materials, of Imagination, Determination, and Shear Will Power.  While they weren’t exactly sea worthy, they did stay afloat… (mostly!)
Nails? who needs them!Several of our scouts participated in Pioneering Merit Badge where they helped build a Flag Tower, using only ropes and wooden poles lashing them together to build a strong and sturdy structure.  Once they completed it they raised it together in its final upright position.

Artificial Intelligence!Well maybe not, and these robots wont be taking over the world anytime soon, but how cool is it that these scouts had the opportunity to take Robotics Merit Badge and to build and code the robots to follow the path on the floor!

Also in Electronics Merit Badge they soldered and built an Alarm Clock!

Say Cheese!Group Photo of our troop during an evening camp program.
