Orienteering: March 2022
In March 2022 Troop 67 scouts visited King’s Gap State Park to learn about Orienteering and try out their course.
Orienteering skills include navigating with the use of map reading and compass. We learned how to read topographic maps and identify features. We also used our compasses to find our bearings to the next waypoint.
Remember to keep Fred in the shed and you will never get lost!
